It was a joy to welcome the very talented Exonian Choir to our church on 5th October as part of their European tour. Their magnificent concert celebrated the one hundredth anniversary of the death of Charles Villiers Stanford and was much appreciated by all those who attended.
The choir is a London based vocal ensemble of former choral scholars of Exeter Chapel Choir, Oxford University and beyond. They have performed at Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral, Southwark Cathedral and Westminster Cathedral in recent years. In addition, they have performed in Paris, Florence and Monaco as part of their annual European tours. We were indeed lucky to have them perform for us in Nice this year and very much hope they will make a return visit soon.
