After the great success of last year's festival we welcome back the Glyme Valley Singers for a varied series of services and concerts at Holy Trinity Nice, St Hugh's Vence and St Michael's Beaulieu between 4th -11th August. Here's some more information about the choir:
The Glyme Valley Singers consist of 4-8 high-level singers from the Oxford Colleges and postgraduates. Our repertoire ranges from Machaut to Britten and beyond, with a focus on underrepresented composers including Mel Bonis, Amy Beach, Elizabeth Maconchy and more. We rotate between the churches of St Mary Wootton, St Mary Glympton and St Nicholas Kiddington in Oxfordshire and sing on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday mornings during term-time and festivals. The choir is directed by Caitlin Harrison.
