About Us

Holy Trinity Nice is a busy, international congregation of all ages, in the heart of Nice on the Côte d’Azur, steps away from the world famous ‘Promenade des Anglais’. We are part of the Church of England’s Diocese in Europe and the world-wide communion of Anglican churches and a French Association Cultuelle.

Our congregation

Our congregation is made up of people from many different Christian traditions and from all across the world who value being part of our English-speaking worshipping community.

We are warmly welcoming of all, irrespective of who you are or whatever life situation you are in - and we are a community that loves and accepts one another as we are.

Our worship

We are blessed to worship in the beautiful gothic church of Holy Trinity. Anglican worship on this site began in 1822 - the present building was opened in 1862.

We aim to offer beautiful, thought-provoking liturgical worship. Through worship, study groups and other gatherings, we approach our faith in a way that offers spiritual calm and inspiration as well as spiritual excitement and challenge.

We don’t claim to have all the answers, recognising that much of life and faith is mystery. But that doesn’t stop us asking and exploring the questions and striving to be open enough to encourage questioning and to embrace doubt.

We’re committed to social justice and to playing our part in the care of God’s creation through our eco group and to being part of the ecumenical groups in and around the city.

As a community of faith, we share socially with one another too, celebrating birthdays and other life events together.

We also grieve together after the loss of a loved one and strive to support one another whenever we are struggling.

If you would like to come along and find out more, we’d love to see you at any of our services or events.
