Our Church Hall

A peaceful location in the heart of Nice

Section title

Located in the church grounds by the former cemetery, the church hall looks out through its large windows onto the garden and trees. Such a quiet and peaceful location is much appreciated and is rare in the centre of Nice.

For information about hall bookings please contact Bob Tonkiss: secretaryhtnice@gmail.com

The hall was opened in 1960 and was recently refurbished in 2021 thanks to a generous donation from the British Association of Nice.

The hall has toilets, including disabled access, a kitchen, a large flat-screen TV and it can seat 54.

We meet here after Sunday services whenever the weather prevents us from using the gardens and we enjoy our Christmas lunch here, as well as other chaplaincy events throughout the year.

The hall is also used extensively by local community groups. Current activities include:

  • Yoga sessions (several times per week)

  • Meetings of AA (several times per week)

  • Weekly meetings of AlAnon

  • Weekly meetings of the Association France-Grande Bretagne Nice

  • Fortnightly film nights

  • Monthly meetings of the Groupe Œcuménique

  • Occasional meetings of American Democrats Abroad Group
