Our Church Hall
Our church hall is a venue for chaplaincy events and regular activities including groups run by the wider community
Located in the church grounds by the former cemetery, the church hall looks out through its large windows onto the garden and trees.
Such a quiet and peaceful location is much appreciated and is rare in the centre of Nice.
A range of community groups listed below use the hall on a regular basis.
For information about hall bookings please contact
Bob Tonkiss: secretaryhtnice@gmail.com
The hall was opened in 1960 and was recently refurbished in 2021 thanks to a generous donation from the British Association of Nice.
The hall has toilets, including disabled access, a kitchen, a large flat-screen TV and it can seat 54.
We gather here after Sunday services whenever the weather prevents us from using the gardens. We enjoy our Christmas lunch here, as well as other chaplaincy events throughout the year.
The hall is used extensively by local community groups. Current activities include:
-
Meetings of AA (several times per week)
-
Weekly meetings of AlAnon
-
Weekly meetings of the Association France-Grande Bretagne Nice
-
Fortnightly Film Night
-
Monthly meetings of the Groupe Œcuménique
-
