About the Event
A concert in three parts:
Part one illustrates the passion of this repertoire, through Wagner, Strauss, Beethoven, Schubert and Korngold, displaying fervour, dramatic intensity and profound lyricism.
Part two is lighter in tone and opens the doors to Vienna and its popular charm, with Lehár, Kálmán, Humperdinck and Sieczyński.
Part three is entirely devoted to Mozart's The Magic Flute with its themes of the quest for Light, initiation, brotherhood and the triumph of wisdom over darkness.
