Film Night - A Matter of Life and Death

This 1946 film by Powell and Pressburger was placed 20th on the British Film Institute's list of Best 100 British films in 1999; you can find out more about the film HERE.

There is a link to our church because the director Michael Powell married his first wife Gloria Mary Rouzer here at Holy Trinity in 1927. Unfortunately the marriage only lasted three weeks; Gloria Rouzer's subsequent life was not without incident !
