Our very own Adrian Whalley explains how you can donate to Holy Trinity following his successful completion of the Nice Marathon.
Adrian completed the Nice-Cannes marathon on Sunday; he was placed 6,913 out of 22,000 with a finishing time of 4 hrs, 27 mins, 56 secs! Adrian ran the race to raise funds for Holy Trinity's eco-church initiatives and in particular to improve the church's lighting.

He had run a number of marathons in the past but with it now being seventeen years (2008) since his last one and with him now being sixty four this one presented more significant challenges.
He ran to raise funds to support financially our Holy Trinity Green Group and planned ECO projects which enable us to better care for God's world. These include our plan to install some eco-friendly and much improved church lighting for which a balance of €6,000 is needed to add to the €2,000 we have already raised. In addition, the gas-fired central heating boiler needs replacement and solar panels are needed. Don't forget too our 'A-Rocha' eco-church bronze award project at both Holy Trinity and St Hugh's which also needs your interest and support.
It is easy to contribute financially: either just click on the 'Make a donation' button at the top of this page and when completing the details add a note saying it is for Adrian's marathon, or you can alternatively use the giving machine at the back of the church.
Thank you, in advance, for your support and kindness.
